MOLDING INSTRUCTIONS
CONTENTS: Molding kit includes 4 bags of putty (2 blue, 2 white) 2 mouthpieces inserts, and 2 latex gloves.
A Mold Kit is an impression material that is used to take a perfect imprint of your teeth.
We need a Mold of your teeth before we can manufacture a grill.
the kit is good for either the top 8 teeth or bottom 8 teeth. The kit comes with enough material to make 2 molds.
Also, note that return postage/label is NOT Included with this package.
Customers are responsible for return shipping.
You will receive the mold kit by mail with all the easy Step By Step Instructions on how to use it. There will be enough to take 2 molds. If you already have a mold and prefer to send us that mold instead of making a new one, you can do so.
A dentist can make the mold for you but our easy step by step instruction allows our customers to do the mold themselves and save money doing so.
STEP 1
Get the 2 molds (1 orange and 1 white) out of the bag and place them in your hand. Note: Please wear gloves to prevent perspiration, dirt, or dust to come in contact with the putties.
STEP 2
Mix the two putties together (use more white than orange to keep the dough softer, longer) kind of like ‘Play-Doh’. Mix for a while until you have a uniform mixture.
STEP 3
Next, place the mold into the mouth piece and make sure it’s even inside the mouth piece. Do not let the tray over flow. If you are going to do only 6 teeth then place the appropriate amount on the tray.
STEP 4
Next, open your mouth as wide as you can and put the mouthpiece in (until your teeth are right in the middle of the mouthpiece without being too close to the walls of the tray) and push straight up (FOR TOP GRILLS) or straight down (FOR BOTTOM GRILLS).Bite all the way into the mold. Hold the mouthpiece in your mouth for 3-4 minutes (DO NOT MOVE OR TALK). Make sure the mix covers your teeth and that your lips don’t get in the way (holding your lip is a good idea too). Your impression must have a good visible gum line (where your teeth meet your gum).
STEP 5
Afte 5 minutes, tilt your mouth piece to the side and pull down GENTLY. Rinse the tray with water and then put it in a zip lock bag and send it back to our Address Below:

NOTE: If the first mold does not come out well, you can use the other bag to take another impression. If that doesn’t work, then you need to purchase another kit.
